Mary J. Blige says she has found religion, but she makes no apologies for her earthly materialism. In fact, she says God has willed her to wear
bling.
My God is a God who wants me to have things,” the singer tells May’s Blender magazine. “He wants me to bling. He wants me to be the hottest thing on
the block. I don’t know what kind of God the rest of y’all are serving, but the God I serve says, ‘Mary, you need to be the hottest thing this year,

...um...can someone point out where the Most High uses the word 'bling'...cause I'm having a hard time finding it in the the Bible.

I will say that YES, God does want us to have things in life. He has expectation set for us and 'riches' (not always material wise) awaiting us.
...but...how she stated it...just something wrong...

That is just out of FUCCCING Control. That is one Sick Women. The fact of the matter is everyone is not, will not and does not want to Bling for the
Lord. This is her own Sick and Twisted way to justify her own Materialism which is actually. Gluttiny (sp), and Vanity. Which HER GOD SAYS ARE SINS...
This is just a Bad Message. What that says to me is because, you are God Fearing God is going to or SHOULD some how Bless you with Fendi, Ice and
Bently.

This is what these preachers are teaching to these lost people. Cleflo Dollar? He is the main one. In my opinion god could care less about whether
people bling or not, that is humans and society talking. I am always well amused by people in their interpretation of what god wants.

But I understand what Mary is saying but it's the words in which she said it. Yes, God does want his people to live richly, but Mary is making it
sound so ludacris. She needs to recant that statement and say it like it's SUPPOSED to be said.

Hasnt MAry been blinging all along? It would seem to me that not blinging has never been her problem, realizing that external bling is meaningless
seems to be her problem as is true of many people who base their worth on what they do for $$ and how much $$ they make.

I think it was taken out of context also. I think she was saying "God wants me (everyone) to have nice things" . She
just said it in a "hood" kinda way.
The only thing youll catch sleeping is a DREAM. You have to WAKE UP to
make them REALITIES
