What's Wrong With Black Men??
I know this is bad, but I'm considering giving up on black men and I'm a 19 year old female.
I just don't understand black men. All they seem to want to do in my city (Sacramento, Ca) is cater and pander to caucasion and hispanic women.
I mean I can't even get a black guy buy me a candy bar unless I have sex with him (I've never done it, thank God!) and even after that it's not a
sure thing. Then I see my white girlfriends getting black guys to take them to the movies or out to dinner.
I'm honestly only into black guys, but now I think I need to try different races.
What going on, are we black women that undesirable? Are we just sex objects? Should I look for love outside my race?

LOL maybe you are in the wrong part of California.
I heard about the IRs on the west coast though. Reason why I am not living over there.

I can relate that is all I see here in KY also .. black brotha’s holding on to the Whiteeee,
I just ignore them and keep on stepping, this is a strange state and I'm adjusting... when I went home over the weekend It felt so good to see so
much Chocolate.. so many Black Brothas.. with Black Women .. or just by themselves.. I smiled the entire time I was in MI .. and now I must go back
because of a tragic incident.. but anyway ..
Keep your head up stay strong and stay Black.. maybe find a different surrounding ... you hang around the very ones who want what you already have ..
and now they are after the Black Man .. maybe you should take a look at that as well..

You should not date outside of your race just because you've had some bad experiences with black men. The black guys you encounter that you are
complaining about are the way they are for a lot of reasons, but not because they are black. At 19 years old, you should be focusing on bettering
yourself and just having fun while you get your education. If you aren't meeting the kind of guys you want to spend time with, just move on and like
Ms. Loving said....get a new crowd or new hangout spots.
My husband is white, so obviously I'm not anti-interracial dating, but I am against interracial dating that is caused by sheer frustration. If it
bothers you to see black men with white women, don't date white guys just to be somehow spiteful. Date men who respect you, who treat you well and
who you enjoy.
Love is dope.

There isn't a damn thing wrong with black men..we are not 'dogs'....we are not 'damaged'....we are not looking for 'booty calls'.....Most of us
are pretty decent guys looking for a decent gal.....Change your stomping grounds and look elsewhere and you may find better luck.....Send me your work
address and i will send you a box of your favorite candy....Sorry no sex involved...you are young enough to be my daughter!!(lol).

There is nothing wrong with Blackmen. However, there is something severely wrong with the dating scene and how folks go about finding a suitable
partner.

Also, don't think that just because you go to another race you'll be exposed to a better crop of men all together. Triffling men come in all shades
dear. A white man will play you, a Chinese man will play, a Hispanic man will play you, and you'll have just as many problems with them as you claim
to have with the brothers.

Oh, and one more thing, stop focusing on guys who are into other races. So the heck what? If that's what they want rather than a black woman, then
remove yourself from the equation and find someone who does want you. Don't worry about what they are doing with their hispanic or white girlfriends.
I find it hard to believe there are no men who like Black women in Sacramento. Maybe it seems that way to you because you allow yourself to get so
worked up over them not being with you.

You live in SACRAMENTO????  There's your problem.
I lived there once and ran screaming from the place cause Sacramento is the portal to NOTHING.
A cultural wasteland.
Anywhere else in CA is BETTER.
See if you can move as soon as possible! No joke.
One more thing--you're 19. SO young. Forget about men for a while and work on your own life.
Just enjoy being YOU.

There are still good black men out there-ones who are not selling out to other races. It has alot to do with where you are meeting men. If you are
meeting men in clubs (nine times out of ten) you can forget it about it.

Well absolutely nothing is wrong with the Black man I've got.. maybe it's the ones you are choosing. Good men can be found ANYWHERE- granted
im in san diego!  either way, maybe you should take a step back from
trying to "get things out of: them and focus on who they are and focus on you and know what you want in a relationship with a Black man.. no matter
the color a trife sonofa is a trife sonofa...JMHO.

Refine and adjust your radar...I'm sure there are good men out there that you are just not seeing.Then it may also depend on what you deem a good man
in the first place.Definitions are subjective at best,so only you know what you like and what is acceptable to you, but please don't bring ALL the
brothas into this some of us are holding it down .And if all else fails pull a brotha aside and ask him why he prefers white women as opposed to black
women.I'm sure You will find some interesting conversation.Good luck.
