Capital in the Twenty-First Century

Interesting book so far.....I have a dictionary by my side while reading the book. Admitingly, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed.

what I learned so far: largely invisible

Karl Marx...focus was mainly the industrial capitalism

just as interesting is David Ricardo....focus was on landowners

Thomas Malthus was on Over-Population (1798)

I was reading all these economic doom and gloom type scenarios. It's like a group of blind men describing an elephant from different body parts. And by combining/communicating what they "see" ....they came up with the answer.

This is what the author did.....but added scientific and historical facts!

just my opinion....the leaders of "Liberals" and the "Conservatives" as they call themselves.....are wealthy!

and they have the SAME arguments now as they do then.
