I know this thread has been done before but it was back in April but I just have two questions to ask
Has anyone else heard that Shamar Moore is returning to the soap
And my husband and my Boss keeps telling me that the actress who plays Ashley use to be a man Has anyone else heard this before, or know if its really true

Shemar Moore Returns To Y&R
After a two year absence, actor SHEMAR MOORE returns to the role of Malcolm Winters on Y&R. His first appearance will be Monday, November 1, on the
series' 8,000th episode.
Moore first joined Y&R in 1994 as Malcom, the sexy brother of Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). In 2000, he won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding
Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. When he left in 2002, his character had disappeared in Africa and was presumed dead. Malcolm's return will
undoubtedly stun Neil, his wife Drucilla (Victoria Rowell), Malcolm's ex-wife Olivia (Tonya Lee Williams) as well as the rest of Genoa City.
"We are thrilled to have Shemar back with us," said Co-Executive Producer/Head Writer Jack Smith. "His story will be something very unexpected, off
the page, and exciting. The man is going to have impact."
Moore recently ended a five-year run as the host of the long running dance show "Soul Train" and starred opposite Tom Selleck, William H. Macy and
Felicity Huffman in the miniseries Scott Turow's Reversible Errors, on the Network. His other television credits include the series Birds of Prey,
the movie How to Marry a Billionaire and hosting the 1999 Miss USA Pageant. Moore's feature film credits include Butter, Motives, The Brothers and
the upcoming The Seat Filler and Diary of a Mad Black Woman. In addition to his Emmy Award, Moore has won five NACCP Image Awards.

 Good stuff!!! I loved Malcolm and it was sooo sad seeing him go....but
now that hes back, y&r's got some good eye candy with him, Brad, and Damon  Since he's back, i wonder if they'll bring up the storyline about him potentially being Lilly's father 
As for Ashley being a man....well, i dont think she was one. But she did play a man on Days of Lives when she was on there....

I belong to a Y&R message board and the people over at CBS has stated that his air date has been pushed up to the last week of this month. We've been
laughing at the rumor that the woman who plays TrAshley used to be a man. There's no truth to that. The woman just had a baby almost two years ago.
The pregnancy was written into the show. Last I recall, no man could give birth to a child.

^^^.......I never heard this rumor before until my husband start saying it, and as for them putting her pregnancy into the script  I really couldn't tell if she was really pregnant or not , one min. on
a soap opera their having a baby and by the next 4 episodes the child is 2yrs old
but thanks for the info

I hear that the little boy that used to play Ritchie on 'Family Matters' his first name is Bryton(can't remember his last name) is playing a run
away or something to that effect. A co worker was telling me this today. I used to watch Y & R back in the day. I wish they would put them on Soap Net
like they did Days that would be cool and then I can catch up.

^^^^........ Oh My Goodness thats him!!!!...I would have never noticed:o yeah he's playing a boy named Daron or
something like that who Dru wanted to have live with her and Neil but Neil is not having it...I can't beileve thats him.....

I heard the rumor years ago that Eileen Davidson was a man and that Victor would not work with her. And the actor formerly known as Ritchie is on the
story playing a runaway involved with Neil and Drusilla's family.

It was the very first ashley that they said use to be a man, and she did have an adams apple.

Yes. The one who plays Ashley now is the original Ashley. She came back after her story was done on Days Of Our Lives. There were two other women who
played the character once the original Ashley left.
First and current Ashley
Second Ashley
Third Ashley

Hmmmmm...never did hear the rumor that the lady playing Ashly was a man. LOL I'll have to look more closely but she did recently have a baby so I
doubt it's true. And I wouldn't have even guessed that Devonne was Ritchie on Family Matters... Wow...I's gettin old1 LOL

anyone got an update on when Shemar Moore is supposed to return? November 1 was the date listed above but then its been pushed up to what day?
Also, anyone keeping tabs with the Damon/Dominic/Phyllis storyline? Originally, i had heard that Davon was brought on to be Damon's long lost
son....but then they revealed that Damon's son Elias was shot by Dominic and so he died. So then i was thinking that theres nooo way that Davon could
be Damon's son, but then on today's episode, Davon found Dominic at the rec centre and they made it seem all suspicious...you know how y&r can be
lol . So now im just confused....

My mama talked about Ashley being a man way back in the day. I don't know. Hasn't there been a couple of Ashley's on the show? That one did have
a pronounced adam's apple. I haven't seen the show in years.
